A man named Savitkadi Pandarinath staying in India who ran away from his home at the age of 14 was a illiterate shepherd belonging to that community. His parents wanted him to look after the cattles but he was interested in pursuing education, thus on one day he stole RS 10 from his father pocket and left home to enroll himself in a school. The teachers and the guardian of the school hostel supported him by teaching as well as paying for his expenses from their salary. He did intermediate in Gadwal government junior college. He joined Silver Jubilee College in Kurnool for degree. He then did his MSc in Biotechnology from Kakatiya University in Telangana's Warangal. After doing his master's, he did his PhD in plant genetics transformation with focus on tomato and eggplant. He now dreams of going to USA to study further. His story is so inspiring for all of us. It shows if you really want to do something, you can achieve it no matter what irrespective of lack of finances or no family support as was in his case.
