water has no color. it is transparent and it can take the color of its container. and when it reflects light it looks bluish just like in the ocean. ^__^ and sometimes we can see rainbow colors through it. ^__^

And you are correct friend, water is colorless.
Reason why water looks green, blue or some other color, is due to the PHENOMENON OF MULTIPLE REFRACTIONS THAT OCCUR, WNEN A LIGHT RAY PASSES THROUGH THE surface of the water.

The color of water is colorless. The color blue or green we can see in the surface of water is only a reflection of the environment that surround the water surface.

I just got done reading a book called The Color of Water for school and I learned God is the color of water :P I dunno. its actually clear i think.
