Don't ever let anger define who you are. Don't let your anger decide things for you. Don't let anger control your life. Anger is just an emotion, it's not a personality. Free yourself from it and choose to be happy.

That anger that we are holding for so long is no positive. That anger we choose to keep that let go. I'm not just talking about simple anger, That anger who pushes you to too bad things. That will never be positive.

@Lissiel When you do something wrong in anger that's not positive. If you cheat someone who has cheated you in anger it's not positive anger but in anger, if you stop communication so that you can stop him from doing that, that's positive.

Reminded me of Yoda words. Usually after an anger outburst. I will be angry with myself that I lose it again and how my cultivation failed.

Anger really puts negativity when you let it take over you. Even you outburst your anger, It will just get worst.

I focus on God and love pours out of me. Anger is just an emotion and it's absolutely avoidable if we aren't self focused.

Yes, anger is avoidable, that's true. But people have this control issues when emotion is starting to take over, they let it control their lives. But I hope they won't forget the importance of a decision because there, will matter the kind of person you are. And God's love will guide us too.

Constant happiness isn't possible and not even healthy in my opinion. If there is a reason to be angry, let it out before you get an ulcer. The important thing is to get over it and not dwell on it forever.

Hi Lissa. Anger. It is indeed an emotion but sometimes you have to feel it so you can release it.

@Lissiel Ah that one. if that is so, then do you think it is easy for that person to let go of anger that had been hidden for a long time by saying “free yourself from it and choose to be happy”? I believe we all have a choice but if anger had been buried deep in a person’s mind and heart, it is easier said than done. That will take time.

I'm talking about an anger who stays and growing in a person's heart. Not just anger like being upset or pissed. I mean a deeper anger that can stay forever. A dangerous emotion that can change one's personality.

@mlgen1037 I know, that's why I'm posting something like this, because I want them to see what anger can do. That's my only advice, I've already experienced that kind of anger before. And you are the only one who could free yourself from anger, not anyone else. That will be your decision. To be angry or to be happy. I'm just giving an advice not a debate, I just want to help. Omg. I don't know why you have to be negative. If you are experiencing anger right now, hope you'll free yourself soon. It will ruin a life. But if you really see it that way, then okay. Its your opinion anyways.

well said... although could be hard for some. for me it can happen with my dad... sometimes you just need to let things slide and not comment. do you have an example for a scene in which you stopped yourself from doing something out of anger?

Yes, sometimes I can't control my anger it just burst out of me. That's when I was younger. I controlled my anger once, of a very important person who betrayed me. I have all the reason to be angry at him but I chose not too. I already forgive him because I don't want to imprison myself on that feeling; I will just let myself suffer. It's nice to live without burden and anger as I said, Only you can set yourself free, you always have the power to decide. After that, I realized these things about anger. I want it to share with other people. Especially to the ones who is planting an anger in their hearts.
