It appears that the airliners are learning their lessons of dealing with animals that are on their long distance flights these days. Five days ago a JetBlue flight from Orlando Florida that was going to land in Worcester Massachusetts had to deal with a three year old female French bulldog named Darcy who was having problems breathing due to the height of the airplane. Darcy was underneath the seat while he was in a pet carrier. JetBlue attendants Renaud Spencer and Diane Asher used their wits to assist Darcy to breathe again by giving Darcy a small oxygen mask so the dog could breathe again. The attendants also gave Darcy some water and ice to cool her off for the rest of the flight. The owners of Darcy who are Steven and Michelle Burt are thankful that the two flight attendants took care of their pet dog.

That is true. The media just likes to take down people that make errors on the job.

That is wonderful that they helped the doggy. I was lucky traveling with my Sid. I too had him in a carrier under the seat in front of me and he was quiet and sleeping the whole time.
