The Thai Cave news will be adapted into a movie

This week we all saw the news about a soccer team consisted of 12 little boys from Thailand who got stranded inside a flooded cave for weeks after they thought they will be safe there after a devastating storm. Little they know they will be trapped on that cave.
I think even the American media became obsessed with this news because they want the little boys to survive. Now that boys barely survived but now they are rescued and the whole world celebrated.
Hollywood is suddenly wanting a piece of this story. 2 Producers wanted to make a movie about it. One movie will change the setting to America with White actors on it with Scarlett Johansson being pitched to play the rescuer....
While the other wanted to use actual Asian descent actors and make an All Asian cast Hollywood movie.
These boys just got rescued and Movie producers wanted to make money out of them.....

. I know - just another Ghost in the Shell kinda thing. I had a conversation with a fellow parent actor friend . . . I mentioned how hard it was for Asian actors to get big roles and he was looking at me like what was I talking about

We got that news here in Israel too and I was happy when they were rescued and their coach was rescued along with him. That was the only time I read about their coach.

I won't be surprised if they prefer white people in the movie. I'd probably be watching it too in my spare time but not in the theaters.
