Every Lunar seven month, the Chinese gate of hell will be open and that it means that the spirits will be here to stay for a month.
In this month, they will have the paper hell money, paper items and food offering while they are watching concerts.
This year, the Chinese lunar seven month is 25th August 2018. As a part of the celebration. Every night, I will post one Asian ghost story that I had heard or seen or maybe experience before.
Do you celebrate Chinese Hungry Ghost Festival?

Yes, it does not matter but no one will renovate, marry or try to buy a new house if you are a chinese. But normally for other races, no one would give a damn even through in the years, everyone seems to start to follow it.
Better safe than sorry.

@id_peace so august or ghost month is not a good time to start new things (renovate, marry, buy new house). i guess that includes starting a business, hiring new employees? how about travelling? do you avoid that too during ghost month?

I like the idea of being a hungry ghost one day - I'd haunt the all you can eat buffet diners
