Account suspended

Recently I started working on a site and they suspended my account today stating that I was working from a proxy or VPN connection. I hardly understood what this meant. Can anyone explain this to me?

VPN means Virtual Private Network, which means a private net work extends over public net work! Have you used free internet services provided by some people either in Hotels, Restaurants or malls to use that site? In some countries like China, Iran and korea use of VPN is banned!

No dear. I was at my home and at work. Both places have wifi. Is it because of using it from two different connections. But both of them are private and my personal networks
