Are latest biopics over playing the notion of Morals ?

Bollywood actor Sunny Leone's biopic titled Karenjit Kaur is facing many haters comment on twitter. Are these biopics like Sanju and now on Sunny leone, overplaying the morality notion over the creative freedom of film-maker , obviously engaging in it for commercial purposes, or does it by and large have deeper moral implications on the society. What are your views?
