Hamsters are just so cute

All i've done today is look up some hamsters videos: what type to get, hamster hacks, funny hamsters 
i had one a few years back and it was my first one so i was not very good at taking care of it. I've done many no-nos like put her in a small cage, feed a lot of food, and i accidentally wet her which caused her to die 
but now i think I am mature enough to handle one.
have you ever had one? what are some tips you can share

@lady1993 my niece had one. we must not have because maybe the dogs will bite it.

we've had various kinds of pets, but not hamsters. i didn't know they shouldn't get wet.
