Day 16
Mark 7:31
Mark 7:31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plain.
36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he makes both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
Are you selfish or caring? Are you interesting in your own welfare, or someone else’s?
Here people brought a man to Jesus who couldn’t speak or hear for him to heal the man, and Jesus did so, but it wasn’t a mere speaking the word and the man was healed. Jesus put his fingers in his ears and spit and touched his tongue. Not a usual healing.
As Christians, you know there are many ways in which healing took place. Jesus spoke, made mud, spit, and touched. Jesus spoke from a distance. People came to him to have their servants or children healed, leaving them behind at home. No matter the method, the person was healed. There are no limits to healing.
Why then are people quick to go to rely on doctors? Doctors have their purpose in healing, but people would rather rely on them than relying on God for their healing.
James showed the proper method of taking care of the sick among you.
James 5:14 Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. (KJV)
Prayer is the first method you should employ when it comes to your healing. Going to the elders of your church is next. So often people stay home when they’re sick with non-contagious problems, not wanting to be around anyone until they are completely well. Anointing with oil and having someone pray over you is not a sign of weakness, but faith that God will heal you. If you are too sick to go to church, let someone know, so they can stand in the gap, praying for you and your healing.
Yes, go to the doctor, but pray first. Don’t leave Jesus out of your healing.
Let’s pray: Father, you created me from dust. You breathed into my body the breath of life. You know every cell. You know when I am sick and you know when I am well. Take care of this body you created, so I can do your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

Amen!
Prayer guides my kids health and healing concerns! Yes, I take them to the dr. I still think prayers from the prayer circles helped and it was god guidance of the hands of the doctors that did anything,.
Really though, Delilah's liver healing itself was all God. Doctors did nothing for that than to say to keep her outside/ in sun and hydrated!!
