Hawaii eruption, destruction and creation

Have you been following what is happening in Hawaii? The new and very active eruption started in late April when Pu'u O'o, a crater of Kilauea but about 11 miles away, filled up and then drained its lava. Then Kilauea's crater Halema'uma'u started to drain, and then the Lower East Rift Zone started to erupt in a long line of fissures (24 in all) which came up right in the neighborhood called Leilani Estates.
To date, 707 registered homes (and some unregistered) have been claimed by lava. The lava channels are as much as 22 meters high, and a new cinder cone has formed at Fissure 8, which continues to vigorously erupt lava, which then flows to the sea. The ocean entry is now about 4 miles wide. They have gained a lot of new land but they are not sure if it will stay around. If the seabed under the lava was weak, such as sand, it could be washed away and the new land collapse.
It is really sad for those who have lost their homes, and also for those who have lost the places they valued, such as surfing spots, warm ponds, and other public areas. However, many of them say that it is beautiful too, and that they look forward to seeing what their island looks like in the future, and that they will have new places to love.
Do you think you could have a positive attitude even when there is some sort of destruction in your life? Look forward to what is new.

If there's no way out, you could only have a peace of mind and choose to accept fate.

It is tragic in its destruction, but it also created something new. It is goid that the people are thinking positive.
