Thanks to the power of social media, a Tallahassee police officer's good deed to assist Phil who is a homeless man get his beard shaved off since he applied to work at McDonald's this weekend. The catch was that the management at McDonald's did not hire Phil until he had his beard shaved due to image of the company and health concerns. Officer Carlson was at a Circle k gasoline station when the daughter of Kelly Duvall took a videotape of Officer Carlson using the clippers to shave Phil's beard off since Phil told the officer he wanted to move forward by getting a job. The good deed by Officer Carlson paid dividends for the Tallahassee Police Department and Phil since Phil was hired by the local McDonald's restaurant in town. Phil started to work in his new job on Monday. Take that main stream media.
