A fire at the Westbury Apartment complex on Sunday in Westminster Colorado sent 10 people to the hospital and left a lot of tenants without a place to stay. However a therapy dog named Kush who assists the mother of Ashley Bering is lucky to be alive even though Kush was not rescued by a neighbor who took Ashley's mother out of the first floor apartment since she is double amputee and Kush is her therapy dog. When the firefighters entered the apartment after they put out the fire, they found Kush inside the apartment. The fate of the cat is not clear if he perished or escaped the fire and is presumed missing at this time. The American Red Cross is assisting the victims of the Westbury Apartment Complex find new homes. Let me just say that maybe Kush has a guardian angel that took care of the dog during the fire.

That is true since most of the time when a dog is inside a burning building, they are usually gone.
