Hello, all ! My appointment today went well, just that my ride there got cancelled (I got a call to that effect before I left today, so the people that usually arrange my dr. appointment rides sent a Lyft.) That was great, but the other ride that they had arranged would have both gone to my appointment and then taken me to work. This one only took me to my appointment, and then when I was done I had to call my own Lyft to take me to work. No biggie, except that if I had had the original ride that was scheduled for me I wouldn't have had to pay either way. This time at least I only had to pay one way. While I was waiting for the doctor in the exam room, my boss' mom sent me a text asking if I could come in early today. My reply was something to the effect of: "In SR (Santa Rosa) at the dr. Be there asap." So after the appointment was over, I called a Lyft myself and took it to work. I worked with the preschoolers again today, as the head teacher was still out sick. The head teacher did come to pick up her daughter, and said that if she "couldn't keep dinner down" she would not come in again tomorrow, so I would be working her shift again. She also indicated that if she wasn't coming in to work tomorrow, she would call our boss to call me around 7 p.m. here. I've fed and walked Angel, and in a minute or so I'll go and find something to eat and do Bible study. Hope that you've had a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
