I am so pissed. I did not know how it got to that point. my full cabinet got molds and mildew. I knew something was off because the cabinet i put my things and mom also puts her tablet on had some mildew on it and it spread a bit down the whole cabinet and that is where i put my collection.
I immediately checked it, took out all my stuffs and boy i had a back breaking clean up last night. I could not put it off till weekend and even if i had work today. I just had to clean it up. I started around 1030PM and finished around 2AM. I have work and I am currently in the office right now, with not enough sleep. I am not done yet and I temporarily put my collection somewhere as of this time put I have to put 'em back by weekend and check out the other cabinet next to it.
Things really come at bad timing, right? Have you ever had to do something so immediate you can't put it off even if you think "you must"?
Thank you every one!

I don't understand where, or how some water got into the cabinet. =( Perhaps when mom gets something from the cabinet with her hands not being dry. or maybe something else. I am just being conscious now and i have to think of how I can make sure it doesn't grow back.

@chiyosan You can also stick a layer of waterproof paper on it. It is very convenient to clean up in this way.

@caopaopao Aha~ Good Idea! I was trying to think of what I can put in it so that I can try to eliminate at least or lessen the build up if it ever happens again. I thought of putting plastic, etc. I think Im gonna go to the bookstore later and look for some stickers. =) Really thanks for your advise.

Well that is to be expected in the kind of weather we are having right now. Molds usually thrive in wet and warm places. Since we are in wet season this molds are in abundance and they will thrive in places where there is no movement and is damp like the corners of houses and the nooks and crannies of your house where there are less movements and lots of moisture that accumulates over time.
The usual solution to that is to expose them to cleaners with chlorine so that would not easily thrive back once you've wipe them out. Wiping with just damp cloth will not totally eradicate them as the will just temporarily disappear and reappear when conditions are set right for them to grow back.

That has happened to me a few times. I don't like the look of mold or mildew.
