Is Karma always at work? Or its become lazy nowadays?

I mean, I see a lot of people who are obviously doing everything so wrongly; they have wronged a lot of people - say politicians who corrupts and gets people's money... and then there are those people that are a bit close to me or have been in my life and I kinda see how they are living their lives now. Like my ex who cheated on me, It was the worst days in my life trying to cope with that sorrow, with the pain and all. But he is married now and seemed to be living a happy life. So I'll bring back the politicians, they sure have amassed a lot of people's money, they are so evil that they don't care at all - but look at them enjoy life, go to travels and all while other people in their country suffer with nothing to eat.
There are those who scammed people, there are those who have gotten away with their crimes (perhaps). but on the surface they seemed fine! Did Karma missed them and skipped on these people? Like we know... I know in the depths of my bones that these people deserves to suffer a bit by causing other people so much pain, etc.. but it does not look that way?! Why?!!!
Anyone have answers for me?

thanks icydoll. I strongly believe in Karma, actually but sometimes i think why is it so slow? of course i want justice now. but yes, i agree since i never followed the whole story and never know what is the real life of that person... i think i will never even know that he or she might already have been touched by karma and is paying for their sins already.

@chiyosan yes at times, I do think that God is not fast enough in delivering justice but then we cannot do much about it.

There's no answer to that except ignore it. Why do I say that? Because the more you think about it, the more you think life is being unfair and the more you become bitter.
just continue doing what is good and stick to your principles in life. Make your own success and ignore the rest of the negativity.

Oh! Thank you very much! I mean I thought of this topic just now because i have been hurt a couple of times, but have let it go as fast as i could order my favorite food. Often my mom tells me i am so pragmatic . Things happen, fine. lets learn from it and move on. But sometimes when i am alone and get to think and remember how i saw the fb account of my ex who has hurt me badly... it was years already actually that i have heard about him. so my thoughts right now is not updated and he may have been paying for his sins but who knows?!
I love your last statement. I will always keep it in mind. =)

Karma will take account of each person sooner or later. That is why I do not look much at others and try to do what is right.

Every person has it's own time for payback. I know in my christian faith, GOD has it's own time for revenge. If the lord is going to do it probably a lot worst than you're thinking.
Besides, we are mortal and born to sin, takes a lot to do what's right.

These bad aspects will always exist. We can't make them disappear. We can only try to ignore the bad aspects of life. Make yourself as happy as possible.
