Recycled bottles for growing plants

I've tried growing small plants in recycled containers. Seems to be easy and a good option. I usually cut off the side of one of the containers and then place it on one side, full it with soil and plant some seeds. Here's a picture of some greens and spinach growing in one such container. This was a dishwashing liquid container that most people would throw away after it runs out.

Great. We also use waste bottles as planters
