Ah.. If I were ever told not to do something , I become very curious WHY NOT? This "Why not" keeps running in my mind while day and night until I uncover things. On the other side there are fellows who are not curious but scared. When they are instructed "not to do something " , they genuinely follow it out of scare or may be out of discipline whatever. So you have already clicked it and reading the post. You are probably as curious person as I am. Now what next follows is weather you hide being curious or ...

Opposite psychology kicks in when someone tells me not to do something. I tend to do it, just to find out why I shouldn't. It's a good way to get children to do things you want them to do, by using opposite psychology on them. Tell any child not to do something, and it's almost a guarantee they will do it.

I totally agree with you. Children are very curious by nature. They are fearless and imaginative too. And they love breaking the rules made for them.

No, I have a curious mind. I love to know the reason behind every 'Don't do'. I never follow anyone's instructions blindly until I know the reason. And, if it appears to me justified, then only I follow it.
