Can sunset bring bad luck?

India

There is a myth I heard recently that watching sunset or keeping the photo of sunset can bring bad luck. On the contrary, pictures of sunrise can make you fortunate. I am wondering what is the basis for such myths? Have you heard of some logic less myths? Picture is mine enjoying sunset view from the cruise ship in Indian Ocean.

I love both sunrise and sunset and watched them so many times. Maybe that's why I have a balanced luck... neither good nor bad.

I too love them both.. Both are equally beautiful.. Where sunrise gives us hopes and energy for a new day, sunset gives us time to rest and recharge our body and soul for the next sunrise.

@arunima25 thanks dear.. This is quite possible..some People here learn a lot of non-sense from movies. It's hard for them to keep fiction away from real life. There was a serial called shaktiman. I have seen it in my childhood. Many people tried the stunt like him and lost lives, some got badly injured.

I am hearing this belief first time. I already watched sun rise and sun set. Don't know what is the logic behind that belief.

In My Language Sunset: a problem, requires immediate resolution. That is just a phrase and not a myth.

This is the first time that I have heard of that myth. Anyway I hope it's not true.because sunrise or sunset those are beautiful creation of God.

I do not agree with you, sorry. In my opinion the sunset is a gift that God gave us, because with it comes the night and where many families come together to have dinner, talk and do many things.

I do not believe this one but maybe people made this up because the dawn of the day is more productive where as the night is dark and lonely.

Quite possible.. People create myths in the mind of others to get things done in their own way I guess
