I attended a talk yesterday and some things really stuck to me...
A participant asked how the speaker manages change, and the speaker asked her another question...why be afraid of change, because of failure?
Then he advised us to Think of the worst thing that can happen if we fail or make mistakes, and think of solutions for that.
it's kind of nice, for a worrywart like me
I'll try his advice

i think that's where we get stuck/overwhelmed - thinking of solutions. that's when we need others to offer suggestions we might not be aware of or help us see things differently.

I find that change is usually always for the worse.

Change is a part of life for life is a constant change. Each of us should be well prepared for every change that might happen in each and every day. I guess thinking of this alone would make us feel ready to whatever changes that comes our way. =)

There will always be an element of uncertainty. The worst case scenarios rarely happen as well as the best case scenarios. We can't rely on our imagination because it isn't designed the see the bigger picture, best case or worst case. To be afraid is futile.
