A neighbor rescues three people in a burning home in New Jersey

A concerned next door neighbor who goes by his last name Finn since his first name was not in the report is being called a hero for saving the lives of three males that were trapped inside a home overnight in Washington Township New Jersey. The fire started on Phillips Court on Saturday. Finn was alerted by a person that he did not see who rang his doorbell several times to alert him that a house was on fire next door. Finn then was able to get the attention of the father of the two young children who were in the second floor of the home that was on fire but since the smoke was so thick that they could not see their way downstairs to get out safely, Finn told them that they would have go out by the second floor window. Finn was able to get a ladder that reached the second floor and with the help of the neighbors they were able to rescue the two children by climbing down the ladder to the ground safe and sound since a concerned neighbor held the ladder while Finn was able to get the kids down to the ground floor safely. Their dad was able to be rescued in the nick of time as a concerned neighbor held the ladder while Finn was able to get the dad out of the first floor that was burned safe and sound. The two kids were taken to a local hospital and released later in the day, the father of the two children is still in the hospital but he expected to make it out later in the day. The mom of the two children was not at home at the time of the fire. However when the sun came out, she was seen with the fire marshal to see the damage to the home that she and relatives live in.
