Many songs are part of my memories because I sang them in my youth and learned the lyrics.
I wonder if those songs also made an imprint in what we do, eat and even drink.
I used to sing in the shower the song "Mug mates" by Eddie Hodges. As I see him on Google now, he looks younger than most of my younger grandsons. But the longing for a mug of coffee is still here and the sound of that music is still in my ears.

Oh, I've heard this song! I always thought it was a woman singing, didn't realize it was a young man.

Hodges had a few hit songs in the 60s. He played Sinatra's son in A Hole in the Head and they sing High Hopes.
