I just started reading this novel by Truman Capote this morning. I have had it on the Kindle for a few weeks and just hadn't gotten around to starting it. But that changed this morning. I scrolled through my e-Library until I found it and started it.
I am several pages in, and so far it's good. I didn't really know much about the story until I started it. Which sometimes is the best way to start a book.

As you know, I read the book a long time ago and have seen the original film version. Last year I watched the Sundance TV documentary Cold Blooded: The Clutter Family Murders where family survivors did not agree with Capote's book and gets into Capote's attraction to Perry Smith.

See I didn't know all that until I started the book. So far it's really good. Itll have to wait though. I'm going on a Walmart and dollar tree adventure

I read it when I was in HS..good book and chilling. Capote got very, very involved in the killer's lives.

I read it a long time ago. You can read the book and then watch the movie from 1967.
