Do you celebrate your birthdate with a party and cake?

In the present, I don´t celebrate my birthdate with a cake. I prefer to spend the money wisely and get the items that are more essential, for example, a pair of shoes or a jacket or a laptop..etc.
On my birthdate which occurred in -march, I got many things that I really needed and a box of chocolates that someone gave me for the occassion.
Do you receive presents on your birthdate?

Yes I do. I I only cook and order foods outside , it's just a simple celebration

I do the smae. food or other essential items and celebrate the occassion. I may invite someone or not, the important thing is to be happy

I do cake on most birthdays, and always get some type of gifts from my mom, brother and boyfriend. Though this year i did from my cousins, my mom, and the boyfriend.

Getting gifts and a cake make a celebration more emblematic. I usually get a gift from my Mom

I do have a plain, without cream cake at home and the cake cutting happens among four of us.. But while I was in the university, both the consecutive last years were celebrated and received gifts and I gave my buddies a treat at the restaurants. But the last time, I had asked my friends to send me giftcard of a shopping website and I bought the stuffs which were necessary to me at that point of time.

Celebrating a birthdate with friends is fun. Sometimes, they´re the ones that give the gifts, but alos giving them something, like a piece of cake, is rewarding too

@quantum2020 Yes... But sometimes it turns out an obligation.. So, thank god, it was for 2 years.. After earning a job, it is okay to spend money..

Well, sometimes I celebrate my birthday with a cake. And yes, I receive a lot of birthday presents from my family and special someone. I am turning 33 next month and I already got my early birthday present from my partner-in-crime, a Michael Kors watch.
