If there is one negative of having a lot of rain strike an area like Old Forge Pennsylvania, it is that sinkholes happen to play a role on someone's property.
On Thursday afternoon, Tom Borthwick was ready to cut the grass in his property when he noticed a sinkhole that his son's pet Husky who is 14 years of age was trapped inside a sinkhole that was eight feet deep.
The name of the dog is Damon (Maybe he was named after actor Matt Damon) who needed help to get out of the sinkhole.
After Tom called up the local police and firefighters, a firefighter went down to where Damon was, placed a harness around Damon and he was able to get Damon safe and sound to his owner.

Good that Damon is safe! I guess Tom will now have to fill that sinkhole on his property.
