Being a father is a decision that each person makes, but there is no manual on how it should be done, when the children begin to develop their personality some become rebellious, ignore, become rude and it is the moment when the worry begins, What to do when a child ignores and everything is a nuisance for him when he is told that what he is going to do is wrong and that he should not do it?

That doesn't mean that they shouldn't follow the rules @mesbakh .

Persistence @domiwla . Kids are manipulators and trust me they know exactly what they are doing. Rules and guidelines must be met or consequences will ensue. Once they realize what they are doing will NOT be accepted, they'll quit doing it.

Ever since my children were small, I was not only a father to them but also a friend that they could confide with as well but I make the lines very clear when their friend becomes their father.

You have to find the way to make them understand where the limits are. If they don't learn at a very young age that they live in a community where they have to respect, it turns very difficult once they become older. That's difficult and even more in your country where you are living.
