I mentioned in another discussion yesterday about having a vision board. I have attached mine here. I created it when I was doing the Artist's Way workshop with some friends. The million dollar cheque I had done a couple of year's before. The date on the cheque is October 30, 2012. October 30th is my birthday. On October 30th, 2012, I found myself in Hawaii. Not a million dollars but priceless.
Also on the vision board is parasailing, which we did in Hawaii, and a postcard from Hawaii, which of course I did get to. There's also pictures about being fit, having a dog, a good camera, a new laptop (which I actually need right now as my driver has died and may cost me a bit for repairs), There's a picture of Ireland, beautiful backyards, kitchen, house, vacations in general, England and some inspirational words.
When you do a vision board you are supposed to have it in a place where you can see it every day. A friend of mine put a picture of a pink cadillac on her refrigerator and eventually she got one. This vision board has been more or less buried in the basement. I used to be down here every day looking at it but not much of late. I guess it's time I stared at it more.
Have you ever done a vision board? Have any of your desires come true?
P.S. If the picture is upside down I will do my best to fix it. I'm on my desktop with a different program which I'm not used to.

We haven't decided. My husband actually agreed to go away again this birthday and then I brought up the idea of the family tropical Christmas vacation reminding him that after this year we don't know where our girls will be, so he is actually looking into that idea instead. The only time we went on a family vacation was to Orlando, Florida, in 2002.

@Hannihar We made one trip to Disney in Florida for a week when I got my insurance settlement. Everything else is to visit his family. That's what vacations are for, he says. I really had to twist his arm to get him to take me to Hawaii. Now I'm twisting his arm to get a tropical Christmas this year. My daughter, who works at the airlines, says she may not be able to get the time off. So if we don't do a family tropical Christmas then my husband and I will go away together in the fall... hopefully.

So I am on the desk top in the basement which is where my vision board is, so I am looking at it every day right now.
