Muslim Festival of Sacrifice

Today is the first day of Muslim Festival of Sacrifice. All muslims who are wealthy enough sacrifice an animal, such as a cow, a sheep or a camel, and feed the poor with it. Have you ever heard of it? Some people find it cruel to kill an animal for the god. But on the other hand you feed the poor people with its meat. What do you think of it? Is it good or bad?

I'm not crazy. I certainly won't discuss if what 1.6 billion people in the world believe in is good or bad.

You're right. It was an awkward question. But believe me, even some muslim people discuss it and some disagree to it.

@zhorak That's a completely different pair of shoes. The same situation: It's different if Turks discuss Erdogan and his policies or if foreigners do it.
