There are just so much school shootings that has become one of the serious problems this country has been facing. Do you think that security checks are now needed at the entrances of schools ? Should there be security guards with metal detectors at the entrances ? Are children supposed to learn martial arts to defend themselves just in case they are able to take down the shooter inside the classroom ? Should there be surveillance cameras at the back of the classroom to have a full view of the classroom, to see what's going on inside the classroom? Are police suppose to have their rounds every morning in different schools ?

Yes why not. I feel this should be mandatory too.

It will be a comfortine sight to see olice cars doing their rounds at schools. This is a way for people who might be planning to do something stupid to think twice. Schools should really have metal detectors at the entrance doors because hiring a security guard or a police for each school is going to be expensive for the country. School doors should be closed when it's school time., only personnels will be able to open the door from the inside. Perhaps the glass doors are supposed to be shatter proof because the shooter might just take an aim at it and can easily open the door and be able to get to classrooms.

Even if there a security check some shooting is being done outside the school. So it should be check points. From one point to another.

Checkpoints will be good too, but there is just so much strategic points a shooter could come from. As you have said, shootings are done outside of the schools too which makes people a little bit more alert now than what they used to, to the point of paranoia, sometimes.
