What do you do when you have a long weekend?

On Monday, August 27, 2018 is National Heroes Day and it has been declared that it is a regular holiday. No classes for all, banks and govenrment agencies will be closed as well.
We have another day to rest and my kids as well. Hoping that we could also play some board games too.
What do you do when it is long weekend?

Usually, I just stay at home. But tomorrow, I will be going out with my little sister. We are going to eat in a Korean restaurant (Kko Kko) in Festival Mall, Alabang. It's my advance birthday celebration. Also, we are going to do some grocery shopping at Landmark.

Do you live somewhere in the south?
Festival Mall is one of the places where my family usually hang out.When I and my older brother were still single , we would go there or SM southmall during weekends to kill time together with our parents. Now that we have our own families we still go there but not as often as we used to.

It was a busy long weekend in the house with studying, calligraphy, water color painting and baking with kids.

Well we spend the day resting for the next day is back to work. We try to do our usual chores on weekends and take the one extra day for rest. We do not bother spending on vacations and other activities for after that extra day back to work is out priority and sometimes if we do extra activity we become more stressed out back to work.

I spend most of my time doing housework. Then accompany the child to do her homework. If we have extra time, we can go to the park together.
