What's a book that you read as a kid that changed your life?

I think a book that changed how I acted as a young girl was Anne of Green Gables, because I saw how she didn't let people make fun of her and Anne stood up for herself, which until that point, I wasn't good at

i did not have the luxury of reading books for kids .. we only had text books to read and I was already fascinated by our folklore myths.

My family was poor when I was young. I basically have no extracurricular books. My grandfather bought me a composition book. That is my favorite book in primary school.

I dont think i ever read that one. I cant think of one that I remember so clearly.
