Reactivated Another Survey Website Account….

I’ve had a Toluna account for years, and I’ve been paid by them, but I fell out of my survey websites a few years ago. The surveys were just repetitive, and I put my focus on my writing (which is what I actually do for a living, writing for clients). Welp, when you fall out of surveys, your accounts become inactive. And that’s what happened to my Toluna account. I recently decided to add survey websites back to the mix, to do before, in-between and after my writing orders. It’s just for some extra spend money, whether I wanna put it towards a special event or holiday/birthday shopping. I reactivated my Inbox Dollars account the other day, and I reactivated my Toluna account last night. My points were gone, obviously, but I expected to start over. No biggie. I earned quite a bit by updating my profile stuff, doing a few surveys and participating in the sponsored polls. I love doing the polls because it’s quicker and you get 15 points per poll. It’s easier to do when I’m not in the mood for surveys. If I reactivate anything else, it’ll be my Global Test Market account, and that’s it. I still have Swagbucks, MyPoints and e-Rewards, and I recently joined Survey Junkie. I’m also on Mindfield but I always screen out so I doubt I’ll be doing much with them anymore. I don’t wanna overdo it because I have my freelance writing orders to focus on. As I said before, my writing gigs come first. Anyways, we’ll see if I fall out of these again lol. When I’m swamped with work, the survey websites are going to have to go on the backburner. But I can always work on them during the weekend (when I don’t have plans). Welp, that’s it. I may or may not post tomorrow, but we’ll see. I don’t have any plans to post on Monday, unless I change my mind, as I wanna take a break and catch up on my notifications. In the meantime, you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take care! :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.

I've belonged to most of those survey sites but never earned anything on them, so I quit them.

I'm only active on a few now. I figured quality over quantity is a better option, especially when I'm not gonna be able to devote hours a day to them, unless it's a laid back weekend. As I said in another comment on this post, Mindfield Online is my least favorite and I'm ready to give up on them, and MyPoints and Swagbucks are my two favorites.

@just4him Thanks. Yep. My income comes from my freelance writing, not surveys, but it'll be nice to have a little extra change here and there. I just automatically delete my emails from Mindfield, for the most part.

@tammys85 It's good, because you have your freelance writing to contend with, and that as you've said many times comes first.

I don't know but doing surveys don't work for me. I find it extremely boring. But good for you if you're good with it. I hope I learn doing surveys right. Partly I guess because of the location. Have a nice weekend.

Not everyone enjoys them, so I get it. I fell out of them for years because they stopped being enjoyable, plus I was focused on my writing (which I'm still focused on). I hope your week is a good one! :)

@yoalldudes Do you mean swiping on a phone? I only use Toluna on my laptop, sorry. :-/

@tammys85 I like Toluna but I don't know how to use it. What is the difference between swiping left or right?

I go in and out of doing surveys as well. I personally get burned out on them after a few months and then take a break. I havent ever had a Toluna account but I know Ive done durveys through them in the past. Good luck!

@tammys85 True. It is nice just for a little extra change. Not to supplement an income, thats for sure.

@maezee Oh yeah, I just think of it as extra money here and there, and nothing more. I doubt I'd have time to work on them enough to cash out monthly.

"I personally get burned out on them after a few months and then take a break." --- I think this may be what happened to me, and then I just never got back into them because of my work from home job, figured I didn't need 'em anymore. But I mean, it'd be good to cash-out every few months to go towards something special.

I was with Toluna before also. But I went inactive, after getting bored with it. I didn't even know how much I earned from there, because some comes in gifts. I just want my earning in cash. Good for you that you have lots of sites to be able to earn some money. But I guess, some are in gift forms. Do you like them in gift forms?

I went inactive for basically the same reason. They started doing digital gifts, which I wasn't interested in, and I just got sick of filling them out. You can earn for PayPal now, as well as gift cards. It depends what the gift is. If it's something useful, or a gift card, then sure. I'd prefer PayPal though because I may be putting it towards wrestling or concert tickets, or a gift for someone else.

Many familiar names in there - I detest the surveys that you Toluna says you are eligible for but then the survey rejects you because you are ineligible. For example, they have your DOB, yet reject you with a "we're looking for someone of a younger profile, goodbye" - waste of time, unless you persistently lie on them...

Toluna is hit or miss for me, I just get tired of doing surveys after a while and need a break. I like the sponsored polls that pay 15 points, especially when there are a lot of them at one time, but I didn't see any yesterday or today. Now Mindfield Online, I'm gonna wind up letting that one go inactive, discontinuing the emails or closing out the account. I actually deleted their app from my tablet a few hours ago. The surveys are either always closed, or I screen out. I haven’t earned anything with them in a while. I had $2 in my account from years ago, and they added the option to get an Amazon gift card at any amount, so I just got that to use on a mousepad a few months ago. Now that it's empty, I don't really do anything with it because it's a waste of my time. MyPoints and Swagbucks are my two favorites, but I'm letting those build up for a bit. :)
