Expanding the acronym it spells out mathematical symbols which we all were familiar with in our school days.
Calculators have now taken away our ability or the interest to use them. Wonder if it is a good thing or a bad thing that our brain has stopped functioning and we all fail miserably when it comes to manual calculations.
How many here I wonder still use these symbols faithfully.

@allknowing It can even be more stressful if I continue to use a calculator to solve my problem unless it is used to calculate money.

But do you not use a calculator to take care of your life's problems?

I only use the DMAS. I never use a calculator. I like to exercise my mind with the logic problems of math.

For big calculations a calculator does come in handy. I have to submit my medical reimbursements once a year and there is quite a bit if adding there

I do not use these every day. Mostly I have to budget so it means adding and subtracting.
