Frugal Shopping: Dollar Tree 8/26

Yesterday after I got off work, I picked up a few things from work. I didn't want to spend that much, but I also knew that I wasn't going to want to go back into town on these two days off that I have.
I spent just under thirteen dollars, and got the twelve items below:
-Mountain Dew Code Red
-5 pack munchy bones
-2 pack rib bones
-pork hide rawhide bone
-6 pack of fun size peanut butter M&Ms
-purple microwaveable mug for soups and etc with ventable lid
-Awesome powder cleaner (I use it for laundry)
-Tater Rounds
-Shoestring French fries
-Loaded Potato Sticks x2
-Giant tennis ball
Yesterday was national dog day, so as you can see Harley got plenty of goodies. And of course as soon as I got home and she went outside, she got her rawhide bone. She loves those probably the best out of all the bones I buy her at work. But I like to vary what she gets, so each one is still exciting for her.
Anyhoo, that was my Dollar Tree Haul for yesterday.

I haven't been in a Dollar Tree store in a while. You did good to select the type of thing like that,everything is usable. I also buy things like that for my dog. On the other hand, some things in the store are not worth your money, they are just a cheap piece of junk. Or take for example, my sister-in-law needed paper plates for a party, she got them at the Dollar Tree, each pack hardly had any plate in the pack, she would have spent less if she would have went a place like the Dollar Store and just bought a big pack that has a whole lot more in it.

I don't know what you are talking about. Paper plates come in 36-50 count at Dollar Tree

@thislittlepennyearns Oh sorry, I forgot to add, this was years ago, at that time you could only get packs with around 10 or 20 plates, which cost a dollar. But you could go to other places and get the amount that your talking about for around 2 dollars. lol That goes to show how often I shop in the Dollar Tree. lol

@sweetashoney I buy mostly paper plates fot lunches at home etc. But they are good quality and a better deal than a name bramd..

We went to our Dollar General the other day for a few things. I don’t get to dollar tree that often but when I do I enjoy it
