What dietary guidelines do you follow to lead a healthy life?

I try to follow the following dietary guidelines to remain healthy: 1. Limit intake of foods high in calories and low in nutrition. 2. Limit foods high in saturated fat, trans-fat and cholesterol. 3. Eat less than 6 gm of salt a day. 4. Have no more than 2 alcoholic drinks a day.

Moderation is key, AVOID too much of everything no matter how much you love it! That means ... Eat one slice of cheesecake. NOT THE WHOLE CAKE!! Eat my fruits and veggies. Meat you can skip. But fruits and veggies should not be skipped. Try to stay away from pork, fried foods, sweets, etc. For my birthday, I ask for cash instead of a birthday cake. During the holiday season … I ENJOY MYSELF! Hey! It only happens once a year.
