In these times where tragic events like the shooter who rubbed out two video gamers before taking his own life at the Jacksonville Landing during the a video game for the John Madden video game tournament, there are stories of people who are willing to be human shields to save others.
Ronald Casey, 30, who goes by the alias of "SirusTheVirus" due to his huge stature nearly was hit by the one of the shots fired by the 24 year old shooter who took his own life by shooting himself with his own weapon, took action to act as a human shield to cover his fellow video game players Joel Crooms-Porter and Matt Clark who are 25 to 18 years of age respectively until the Jacksonville Fire And Rescue Department who were holding a drill across the street from the venue arrived to take care of the wounded.
Casey has been thanked by the relatives of both Crooms-Porter and Clark for putting himself as their human shield during the shooting.
Casey admits that he is still haunted by the tragic incident at the John Madden Video Game tournament.
What amazes me is that video games are the norm for today's generation instead playing bowling.
Bowling in my opinion keeps my body and mind sharp as a tack.

It seems you cannot go anywhere today without worrying that some crazy lunatic is going to shoot you.

It seems that video games are the new norm instead of playing a sport in an outdoors venue like golf.
