Favorite TV Westerns

Another favorite TV Westerns, before I get to the big favorites, is one I ran into just a couple years ago when I was doing laundry at my daughters. Bat Masterson. Looking up information on IMDB, I found out Gene Barry was in the starring role. At the time it was on MeTV, but when I looked at MeTV a couple days ago, it's no longer there. It was a Black and White half-hour western and quite enjoyable. I found myself making certain I was available to watch it when it was on. I wish I had known about it when I was younger. It would definitely have been a favorite childhood western. As it is, it's a favorite adult western. Have you seen Bat Masterson? What did you think of it? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of IMDB

I wish Bat Masterson was still on. John Wayne was good. I have a collection of his movies.

@just4him Bat Masterson was good too. So, do you like to watch the old shows these days?

never saw this one. One I used to like was Branded about a soldier trying to clear his name. I loved the opening credits where the uniform is pulled apart on him and someone breaks his sword over his knee. I used to think that sword was either rubbish for fighting with or it should have cut the seargant's leg off for trying to break it that way
Of all the opening & closings I've created, this was the hardest ever to do, not to mention taking fucking ages. First of all, once I'd edited the audio file...

I have seen that show and thought it was entertaining. I would have kept watching it but one day it was there, the next day gone.

That's the way it seems to be with MeTV sometimes.
