Can you stay even for a day without internet? / myLot

I am just back from a seven days sea voyage off the coast of Angola. Due to malfunction of our Vsat, we were without network for almost 7 days. It was really difficult to manage because internet has become such an integral part of our lives.

@amirev777 Sure can! I've done it many times. I know that others feel they can't live without the internet or even their phone but they actually can. They just don't want to try.

Yes, as you say it certainly is possible but certainly requires some effort because I feel most of us are over-dependent on internet, and that includes me.

@amirev777 Visit some historical places or things like that. You get a day free of internet and fresh air to boot.

I know the internet is quite important for us today. It is OK for me to be without it for a day, but it seems it is quite a long time if I am offline for a week
