When a DVR would come in handy

At times like these is when I wish I had a DVR. I had known for a while that the spin-off of Sons of Anarchy, Mayans MC premiere was airing tonight on FX and had be planning on watching it. Then today my son called and told me about the new series premiere on USA, The Purge, since I have seen the movies, I would like to see how the series would be. The trouble is, both shows will be airing at the same time. Since I don't have a DVR, I can't record one and watch it later. I'm just hoping that Hulu will broadcast one of them on it. If not I'm just out of luck. Now I have to choose which one I really want to watch tonight!
