Any tips on getting sound sleep at night?

I often play some music when I sleep, it's helpful. If you are tired during the day, you will fall asleep easily at night.

Yes, I have heard that listen to soothing music before going to bed surely helps. Thanks.

I have heard that Gayatri mantra should not be recited at night. I also do recite Gayatri mantra, but only during day.

I have this problem too, but it's mainly my fault. I barely find time for myself and that's why I go to sleep very late, usually after watching some movie on tv.
If you want to have a better sleep, you need to stay away from food before going to sleep (at least 2 hours from your last meal), no tv, play some music if you like or read some book (in a seated position preferably).
Just try to relax your brain before going to bed.

,,,listen to a soothing music or ballads.. those with slow tempo and make your brain relax... and just close your eyes while listening a relaxing music..
