My friend received an email saying he had won a lottery of 10 million USD. They wanted his bank account details for the transfer. All he had to do was transfer a meagre amount of $1000 into a bank account located in UK. These were supposed to be transfer charges. Even though my friend was tempted at first, eventually good sense prevailed.
