What are your favorite books that you think everyone must read ?

Hi everyone,
I used to be an avid reader but lately I just can't seem to get myself to finish reading a book. It kind of bores me and i seem to rush or skip the content.
guess i just need some new materials to try...
for me i enjoy reading Russian literature .. two of my fav novels are
Netochka Nezvanova by Dostoevsky and the metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
what's your favorites ?

A difficult question, given how widely tastes vary. Among my favorites are The Magus, by John Fowles, Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain, and A High Wind in Jamaica, by Richard Hughes. As soon as I send this, I will think of others. Like anything by P.G Wodehouse or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
