Do you like memes? The majority of my friends use them and so do I, but older people I've known don't like them, usually because they don't understand them, to which I explain, "They are like inside jokes that most people on the internet know." Recently I met someone my age who didn't like memes and didn't use them. When I found this out, of course, I exploited the fact and to this day consistently quote memes and vines (very short video-based memes) to her, such as seeing a ROAD WORK AHEAD sign when she's driving and I'll say "Uh, yeah, I sure hope it does." She enjoys the quips themselves as long as she doesn't know what they are, but as soon as she finds out they're memes she reacts much more nuetral about them. That leads me to restate my beginning question: Do you like memes?
