Because the ptsd makes everything bigger then it actually is, I have the same issues and I went through a lot of trauma as a child so now everything small is traumatic. Things that are stressful to us might not be stressful to others it just depends on how your body takes on tough situations

I have this fire built up in my chest that needs to be put out and it takes a very long time to calm down. I feel as I need to throw something or get destructive. It makes no sense i wish this could get better. I also smoke just for me to calm down is that bad thing to do?

Provide an example. That will help.

Ex. I could be alone in the room playing the game happily and the next minute I'm upset because no one wants to play with me.

What type of PTSD do you have. I knew a few people who actually have that due to a war. Most of the time they are fine but each has their own different issues. One sleep with his army dagger The other one will rage when talk about certain nationality army.
