Is this a discount? The maths doesn't add up!!

I'd recently browsed through an online site to buy coffee and left something in the cart. I didn't check out. After a while I got this email offering a discount. Sounds good?
Nope! The discounted price was higher than the actual price and the maths they quoted just didn't add up!!
What do you think?

The discount price may have only been for a limited time. Because you didn't check out on the day you put it in your cart, you missed the deadline and now have to pay full price.
