Something I have wanted to do for a while now

Today I started a project I have wanted to do for a while now. The cream colored carpet that was in our hone when we moved in is showing it’s age. It was so hard to keep clean, especially with young children.
We knew there was hardwood underneath, but we were unsure of it’s condition.
Well, now we know. It’s not perfect, but it will be much easier to clean. There is still a bit more to remove, but this is a good start.
Maybe my husband will let me remove it from the living room too? He was against it because he was afraid the floors would be unsalvagable. I sent him a few pictures so he wouldn’t be surprised. But I will find out how he really feels when he gets home from work.

Hardwood is so much easier to keep clean. I can't wait to see how it looks.

Yes! I feel like I couldn’t get the carpet clean anymore. This will be much easier.

We have hard wood floor in our bedroom the carpet in our bedroom was bad so we tore it out and put the floor in. Next our living room carpet will be tore out and hard wood floor put in there as well.
