It seems Paris residents are irked at eco-friendly public urinals

I just read that a new set of eco-friendly but completely exposed urinals have been deployed on the streets of Paris and these are provoking uproar from locals. They are known as 'urinoirs', and one such bright red “urinoirs” installed on the Ile Saint-Louis, not far away from Notre Dame cathedral and overlooking tourist boats passing on the river Seine, has caused particular resentment among the locals.

The rich peoples living in this neighborhood were not used to have urinals around. So shocking! They would also suppress the tourists if they could, to stay between them in their island. I am afraid they will have to live with these urinals, the mayor offered to move them a bit, she is too nice, they never voted for her, but, knowing the habits of the local fauna, after having complained at the city hall, at the ministry of culture and alerted the international media, they will certainly try to have them removed by the justice, they have just to cross the river. All this buzz for 2 urinals with flowers on the Saint-Louis island! Nobody complained elsewhere in Paris, it is green... And also red. And if they are red, there is a good reason, it is to be seen and used during the night.
