Welcoming our lord Ganesha - Festivities all around!!

Hi mylotters. Today is Ganesh Chaturthi I.e. We as people bring lord Ganesha at our place. Today is a very auspicious day for all Indians. In Mumbai, Maharashtra, this festival is celebrated with much enthusiasm. Prayers are done after his arrival and sweets like modaks are kept for lord Ganesha. Also fruits are kept. After few days, visarjan takes place ie the Murti of lord Ganesha is immersed in water and people with tears in their eyes bid adieu to him and praying that please come soon next year. Every society arranges different programs for this few days. In our building too, the programs are arranged.
