Have you ever been a victim of ATM fraud?

I was unlucky to have been a victim to an ATM fraud, in Brazil. There was this ATM in a shopping mall, where I tried to withdraw some Brazilian Real. But inspite of trying couple of times, I got a message saying my transaction has been aborted. I quit and tried my luck at ATM of a local bank and was successful. Next day, my wife started getting SMS alert on her mobile for transactions from my debit card, even though I had not used it - I was lucky, since when my wife informed me about the same, I immediately called my bank and asked for my debit card to be cancelled. Thankfully, the bank refunded all the amount which was fraudulently? withdrawn from my account.
