Two brown outs within five minutes of each other

A "brown out", for those unaware, is when the power flickers on and off.
One just happened about ten minutes ago, and another about three minutes after the first.
I've had my phone on the charger for a few minutes already, so I heard the beep that signifies it's charging again.
It's daylight out, but I've already ensured I know where my flashlight is. I also have a USB chargeable lamp that I will make sure is charged in case it needs to be used.
The wind is only blowing slightly, and the sky is clear.
With these two brown outs occurring, I wonder if our power company is prepared for the potential storm?

Never heard of "brown outs".. where did yoy get the usb chargeable lamp? Never heard of them before either but is something I'd look into.

It is what I have always called them, because it's what my family has always called them.
As for the lamp, I got it from a friend who I am pretty sure got it from amazon.

@thislittlepennyearns THey do, I checked awhile ago.
The one I have only has two settings. A yellow and a white. The ones on amazon look as if they will do multiple colors but if you look closer, the description says only yellow or white.
I was hoping to get another one that had multiple colors.

I don't think the power companies can ever be fully prepared because the storm can be so unpredictable.

Oh, I know it. I've not had any other issues and it could have very well been unrelated.
I know from the news the other day, that the school system here has sent it's worker's home with a truck and chainsaws. My uncle is a plumber for the school system, but he's been out of work for the past two weeks because of diverticulitis. Otherwise, I am sure he'd have the school system truck and a saw.

@thislittlepennyearns He will go to the doctor on Tuesday and they'll tell him then what will happen. He may have to have surgery.

I am prepared for the power to go out, yes.
We have oil lamps and flash lights.
